“If in any quest for magic, in any search for sorcery, witchery, or legerdemain, first check the human spirit.”
– Rod Sterling, The Twilight Zone
Gabrielle here, writing you from a tea tree oil bath while sipping a sour blueberry ale. I am no stranger to comfort and taking full advantage of all the beauty and magic this world has to offer.
By day, I am curator of all things visual and creative for nine different restaurants spanning from Charleston, SC to Nashville, TN.
By always, I am a lover, friend, sister, listener and straight up boss bitch.
I take pride in the little things, like my bright yellow Mini Cooper and my wavy aquamarine locks.
I can already feel you asking yourself, “Where does The Sorcerer come in?”
“Now, sorcery rules the world. Of course, most don’t call it sorcery; indeed, many would be horrified by such a notion. Instead, the use words like ideology, politics, defense, security, patriotism, commerce, industry, marketing, consumerism and belief. But where there is power-seeking, especially power over others for oneself, though also over oneself, and be it wittingly, or unwittingly conjured up, make no mistake: there is sorcery afoot. It just comes in different shades and color, that’s all” – H.M. Forester
Why are you rushing it? It’s a heavy question that should start with a definition.
Sor•cer•er: a person who claims or is believed to have magic powers; a wizard
Under my tough, hot-to-the-touch skin, there is a secret.
The best way I can describe it is by letting you in. I am a Pisces, Scorpio ascendant with a moon in Cancer. Such a wavy and emotional princess, I know.
My sensitivity was something I did not accept or understand until my late twenties. However, when I did begin to understand it, is when the magic began.
My ultimate power is my empathy and the ability to make others feel like they belong. It’s important to me to heal others through understanding, advice and unconditional love. Communication is the ultimate key to any healthy relationship and I will stand by that forever.

I guess you can say that’s how I fit into sisterhood of The asSASSins. There’s always one in the group who you know you could go to – to really cry things out, drink until your dumb, dance until you forget and love until you’re lost.
Yeah, that’s me.
Life was immediately different when I met The Warrior, The Rogue and The Diplomat – I don’t remember the exact order, but I do remember exactly how they made me feel.
The Warrior was quick to make me feel safe, heard and loved. The Rogue brought feelings of being not so alone, admired and strong. The Diplomat made me feel empowered, unique and confident. It was more than a bond, it was sisterhood based off of mutual minds and understanding.
Everything that was shared was done in a safe space – things I had originally felt ashamed of, disappeared as they entered the ears of my fellow sisters.
It’s true, every chick needs a girl gang – but it should be one of value and merit. Don’t you forget it, and if you ever get the chance to meet me, be sure to tell me what makes you The Sorcerer of your group.
Follow my magic.
